My husband and I met Mr Momin early in 2016 following a diagnosis of angina. Mr Momin recommended 4/5 bypass surgery to give my husband the best chance of returning to a full, normal life. Mr Momin was extremely professional and factual. He instilled confidence in us immediately and we were happy for him to make decisions during surgery in the best interests of my husbands health and recovery. It is evident from the care immediately following surgery that Mr Momin also has high expectations of his staff team in delivering a high level of care for his patients. My husband is only at day 9 post op and is doing everything recommended by Mr Momin and his team to help speed his recovery and is doing extremely well. We would be more than happy to put our lives in Mr Momin's hands but hope that the need never arises. A huge thank you is still not enough!

I am 80 years old and when I was diagnosed with a heart problem, I was anxious and worried as I am not a good patient when it comes to illnesses and major operations. However after consultation with Mr Momin, I was assured that despite my age he believed that I was strong enough to undergo the by-pass as all my test results were good and the risk very minimal. Finally I decided to go ahead with the operation which was very successful - triple by-pass, an operation very well done by Mr Momin.. My sincere thanks to Mr Momin and his team. Thanks to Mr Momin for a very neat job done. The technique used for my leg was indeed very neat and I have had no problems at all. I am recuperating well and have no hesitation in recommending Mr Momin to anyone who has to undergo heart surgery.

At the end of May 2016 I was operated on my Mr Momin at St George’s for the first part of the Hybrid Ablation procedure. Mr Momin and his team were highly professional throughout and explained the procedure thoroughly and answered any questions or concerns I had. I have seen may cardiac consultants over past 10 years but have to say that Mr Momin is by far at the top of his league with expertise, professionalism, compassion and personal skills; he even took the time to address my teenage daughter and reassure her after my operation, little gestures, but they do make a difference in dealing with life debilitating conditions. The surgery was invasive through my stomach and around the heart but I was out of hospital the next day recovering at home. I can breathe normally again and to have the chance of a life without AF is beyond words.

I am an airline Pilot and as such have an annual medical involving Ecg plus many other tests. An abnormal Ecg led to an angiogram in early December at which Mr Momin was present. An urgent CABG Coronary Artery Bypass Graft was needed and took place 5 days later. Aziz Momin is a credit to his profession. The caring factual and informative manner that he displayed was exemplary. He carried out the surgery and post operatively was proactively involved. I have no doubt that luck on my part combined with the excellent skills displayed by Aziz Momin and his colleagues have saved my life. I cannot recommend him or my superb cardiologist Doctor Shrilla Banerjee highly enough. Happy New Year.... One that I probably would not have seen!
